What are polynucleotides?

Some patients are able to see the first signs of improvement from 7-10 days post first treatment. Full and best results will be visible after you have had all three Ameela sessions. We recommend the three sessions because it has shown there are 22.5% less wrinkles after 3 sessions.

Ameela results can last up to 6-9 months. After which point, we always recommend booking in for a maintenance appointment to add longevity to your results.

Dependent on the patient and the concern area/s, we recommend having three Ameela treatments a month apart from one another.

With Ameela polynucleotides treatments, the downtime is very minimal at 2-4 hours dependent on how sensitive your skin is. To maintain your results, we also recommend a top-up appointment every 6-9 months for best result maintenance.

If you are allergic to fish, then unfortunately Ameela is not the treatment for you. Ameela uses animal-based polynucleotides that are derived from salmon, specifically the sperm cells of salmon.

Ameela does not include hyaluronic acid in its composition. However, it enhances the production of your body’s own hyaluronic acid and amplifies the effect of any other hyaluronic acid that may have been administered to you by up to 40%.
